Six days out of town visiting the family takes a lot out of you. I'm going to try to make the most of what I have left of the week before school starts up again. Pursuing my own personal projects is always more entertaining than assignments... :sigh:

Doodling with good ol fashioned Bic pens. Those things can do wonders with shading and sketching, as proven by Juan Francisco Casas... and that sickeningly sweet smell they make when you're poured scribbles upon scribbles over the page...

I need to go to Staples tomorrow...

I have every intention of learning a few 3D things over the break. My friend Matt will likely distract me from much progress in the art department for the next week, but hopefully I'll get a chance to sketch out some things here and there. I've been seeing a lot of great art on dA recently and it's motivating me to do better myself. Kudos to all of you out there who inspire me and all the other artists out there. You rock my socks.
