So, it came to my attention that a blog on Tumblr posted one of my art pieces without giving me credit.  I know that this happens to artists all the time, but it's the first time it has ever happened to me.  I'm a little miffed, but not as annoyed as having someone claim it as their own.  I've written to the blog to ask them to update their source to credit me, and I'm really hoping they come through.  You can see the post here:

Please, if you find some art that you like, CREDIT the artist!  Yes, it's flattering to have your art appreciated, but it's really lame to take it and post it somewhere without giving them credit for what they do.

EDIT:  My pal who notified me this had occurred reblogged and updated the source.  But, remember, to ALWAYS ALWAYS credit the artist/source of any work you blog or post.  It's just the ethical (and nice!) thing to do.  And artists, protect yourselves!  Label/sign/watermark your work!
